Arranging your own Concert
Can we help you raise funds for your own good cause?
Over the past 90 years, Kirkintilloch Male Voice Choir has helped to raise many thousands of pounds for charitable organisations throughout the UK.
Since 1921 the choir has performed concerts in many venues.
What does it cost?
We do not charge for singing at charitable events but are willing to accept a donation.
If the distance involves us in organising transport, we would expect a contribution towards the cost of that transport.
We will accept bookings of a commercial nature; these may be subject to a negotiated fee.
What are our requirements?
We would normally expect that the venue has a well tuned piano or electric piano, although if this is not possible, we can provide our own instrument.
A cup of tea/coffee or a soft drink is always welcome during the interval or after the concert.
Normally one of our committee will visit the proposed venue prior to the concert date to verify access and arrangements.
What do you need to do?
You are responsible for the organisation of the concert, i.e. obtaining the venue, the publicity material, printing and sale of the tickets and concert programmes.
Can you help me with publicity materials?
We can provide you with a variety of choir photographs, logos etc, to assist you in promoting your concert. Please email our Secretary for details or requests.
What do I do next?
If you wish to discuss engaging the choir to sing for a concert you are planning or just considering, please contact the Secretary as soon as possible for further help and information.
The sooner you contact us, the better the chance of securing your preferred date.
